Event: Open Dialogues Meetup in Chandigarh-Workshop on Bioentrepreneurship avenues for innovation

As an initiative to bring together, the different stakeholders of the innovation ecosystem, IKP- Knowledge Park, through its BIRAC Regional Innovation Centre (BRIC) organized an ‘Open Dialogue’ at CSIR-IMTECH, Chandigarh, on April 12, 2019. The platform witnessed representations from CRIKC member institutes, regional industry and BIRAC beneficiaries, and was moderated by the Chairman and CEO, IKP, Knowledge Park, Ms. Deepanwita Chattopadhyay.
The scientific team from DST-CPR at PU, Chd, represented by Prof. Rupinder Tewari (Coordinator), Dr. Radhika Trikha (DST-STI-PDF) and Dr. Navkiran Kaur (Sr. Scientist C) participated in the deliberations that took place during the course of the Open Dialogue.
The assembly not only deliberated on identifying the challenges faced by the stakeholders in this region but also the various ways by which they could be overcome. It was emphasized that there was an urgent need to foster synergies and identification of a roadmap for future networking, to bring out the complete innovation potential of this region.
