Event: ASIP 9th Conference – Technology and Innovation for SMEs

The 5th Asian Innovation Forum (AIF) was co-organized by the Korea Institute of Science and Technology Evaluation and Planning (KISTEP) and Asian Society for Innovation and Policy (ASIP) as ASIP 9th Conference – Technology and Innovation for SMEs at the University of Philippines Diliman, Quezon City from Oct. 3rd to Oct. 5th. The conference had two AIF sessions on Future of Ecosystem for SMEs & Startups and National R&D Investment; Its Adequacy & Implementation.

Prof. Rupinder Tewari, Coordinator, DST-CPR at PU, Chd. attended the conference and moderated the Government Session 1: Future of SME & Startup Ecosystem. Prof. Tewari delivered a talk on ‘BIRAC – a successful PPP model for stimulating innovations (SMEs)’ in the same session to bring out the successful model for promoting Public-Private Partnerships for R&D in India.
